# Complete your account checklist

After you’ve created your Dscout account, you’ll see a checklist within the Dscout app of what else you can do to maximize your earnings:

Here are a few useful articles to help you complete the necessary steps and answer any questions you may have:

* [Update your Scout profile](/account-settings/account-setup/updating-your-scout-profile.md).
* [Dscout XT](/account-settings/dscout-xt.md).
* [Apply to missions](/getting-started/dscout-overview/applying-to-missions.md).

If you want to make the most of your Dscout account, we encourage you to complete every step as they will directly impact the number of opportunities made available to you! However, the checklist will be automatically hidden after 30 days. You can also dismiss the checklist **if the only remaining item is to Activate XT** and you do not wish to:

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://participanthelp.dscout.com/getting-started/dscout-app/complete-your-account-checklist.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
